Hi Folks,
This weeks dowload pick is a must have for any Exchange Admins toolbox.
It is aptly misnamed PFDavAdmin.exe. Why do I say it is misnamed? Because the utility does so much more than just administiring public folders. It also works on Users Mail Boxes! The beauty of this utility is that it has the hidden gem ability to recover recently deleted mail folders that users can not seem to recover. (you can do the same for accidently deleted public folders.) You can use this utility to manage permissions on Public folders as well as on mailboxes. Good stuff all around.

To use the utility just type in the name of your exchange server and put in your dc that is the global catalog server. You can choose mailboxes, public folders or an individual users mailbox. It uses the URL of the users mailbox for this function. To find the users url you can simply open all mailboxes, right click on the user and choose folder permissions. You can then copy the url from the second line of the user and relaunch the utility and paste it into the box.

Dig around in this utility and you will find all sorts of goodness.
